Atrbute Artist Portal allows an Instagram Business or Creator account to connect only when its exact username is registered in Atrbute’s Artist Grid. After the account owner or an authorized manager grants access, the profile and recent published work can appear in the public Artist Grid, while eligible insights remain available only in the matching authorized session.
Data We Access
- Instagram profile information such as username, name, biography, profile image, follower count, following count, and media count.
- Recent Instagram media, captions, timestamps, permalinks, and likes. When the username is on Atrbute's agency-approved roster, the connected profile and most recent published post are displayed on the public artist portal.
- Eligible account insights returned by Meta for the selected reporting period. These insight values are not included in the public roster response.
- Atrbute does not request or access Instagram comments, direct messages, or business message conversations.
How We Use Data
With the connecting user’s authorization, we use profile and recent-media data to showcase registered represented talent and published work in the Artist Grid. We process eligible audience signals only for the authorizing owner or manager’s private performance view. If the returned Instagram username is not registered in the Artist Grid, Atrbute declines the connection and does not save its token or profile data. Atrbute does not use this access to publish, edit, approve, or delete Instagram content.
Storage and Sharing
Access tokens and connected profile records for registered roster accounts are stored with Atrbute’s configured infrastructure providers only to operate the portal. Public visitors can view approved roster profiles and their latest published posts; access tokens and eligible insight values are never publicly displayed. Atrbute does not retain a rejected non-roster connection, sell connected Instagram data, or share it for third-party advertising.
Retention and Removal
Atrbute retains a registered roster profile and access token while the account remains connected and the portal requires that access. During the matching authorized session, a user can select Disconnect Instagram on the artist page to delete Atrbute’s saved token and connected data. Users can separately revoke Atrbute through Instagram’s Apps and websites settings. A verified Meta deauthorization or deletion request also removes the matching profile record and token, and public roster responses are not stored in the browser or edge cache. To request help with removal, email marketing@atrbute.com. Meta deletion confirmations can be checked on the deletion status page.
Security
Atrbute validates the OAuth login session before accepting a callback, keeps access tokens on the server, and does not expose tokens to browser clients. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
